Here are a few memories from some of our recent events...
Annual Plant Sale
Our annual plant sale has continued despite the many restrictions that currently
make fundraising events very difficult to plan for.
After a Plant Sale by delivery only in 2020, 2021 saw the return of the ‘face to
face’ sale in May.
It was so good to see so many of our supporters returning to make the event a
resounding success. We also welcomed many new visitors and so, all in all, it
turned out to be a truly wonderful day.

Rachel, Occupational Therapy Student, giving an educative talk as part of the sensitization program to promote the rights of persons with disabilities and raise awareness of the services available
Being involved in the sensitization program and spreading the word about Nicky’s Foundation is so important. We want to make sure that as many people as possible know about the support that is available to them. This includes getting to the smallest and most rural villages, which is a challenge in itself as the roads are so bad! So many people come to listen which means we can get the message out there and if it turned out that there was even one person in a village that we could help it made it all worthwhile! Rachel
Daniel, using his own personal experience and expertise to assist the work of Nicky’s Foundation
The organisation truly provides a service which would be otherwise completely absent from the population. People don’t even know there are disability services available and the Foundation does a wonderful job of building awareness and providing resources for those individuals in hard-to-reach places. If I lived here (all my life) I’m quite sure that Nicky’s Foundation would be the only avenue which I could receive proper attention….’ Daniel (Peace Corp Volunteer ; Volunteer for Nicky’s Foundation )
